Today, as I was walking around Target picking up a few last items for the shower I walked past the Starbucks and saw what I’ve been waiting for since last fall. That’s right, pumpkin spice is back! Woohoo! If I could do a backflip, you bet I would’ve done one. I ended up getting it as a frappuccino because it’s back into the low eighties again and I didn’t feel like sweating into a latte. It tasted as delicious as always, and now it’s officially fall in my book. Especially since I was also able to put out some fall Bath & Body Works soaps at our kitchen and bathroom sinks. Nothing like the smell of fresh picked apples to get your fall gears turning! Can’t wait to go apple picking in a few weeks!

In this post, I want to give a shout out to the two lady boss bloggers that have inspired me the most. Inspired me to start my own blog, inspired me to dream bigger, inspired me in terms of fashion, home decor, travel, and being a mom someday.

The first blogger I ever started following religiously is Jessica Garvin of Little Baby Garvin. Jessica is the master of party and event planning and making life simple, sweet, and special for her three beautiful little girls – Harper, Eloise and Claire. I have been following Little Baby Garvin since before her first daughter, Harper, was born and am still addicted even five years later. She inspires me daily and makes me want to be the mom she is to her little ladies. Her humor and originality in her writing keeps me coming back for more. She is authentic and real, and most of her posts get me laughing more than once. She makes life as a mom look so easy, and yet is so open and honest about her life and how un-perfect it can get behind the camera. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of following along with Jess and her beautiful little life.

The next lady blogger I have fallen head over heels for is Amber Fillerup Clark of Barefoot Blonde. Amber is the reason I had the courage to start Tisch of all Trades and the reason I believe I can achieve a life as wonderful and exciting as hers. I have only been following Amber and her adorable little family for about a year, but was hooked in right away. Like Jessica, Amber makes being a mom look so effortless, but she is always open and honest about the reality of being a mom of two tiny people. Her kiddos, Atticus and Rosie give me such baby fever it’s unreal. The thing I love so much about Amber is her genuine love for life and her family. She always takes her family on such fun little adventures, and I love to follow along. Even the simplest of things like spending an afternoon in Central Park to a big grand adventure in Ireland or Italy. She became famous off of her amazing braid tutorials, and makes it look so easy to look so good. Seriously, I wish I could look as good as she does with as little effort!

These ladies are living the dream and I love that they share their lives with the world. Most importantly, I appreciate how authentic, genuine, and original they both are. They don’t try to snow their readers into thinking that life is all rainbows and butterflies, but share the good, the bad, and the ugly. It makes me relate to them on such a different level and they both make you feel as though you’re chatting with a girlfriend over coffee. They make you feel as though you really know them. Seriously, both of these women would be amazing to have as a friend. And that’s what makes me and all of their readers keep coming back. If you haven’t already checked them out, I highly recommend that you head on over.

I think it’s so important to have role models to look up to for both inspiration and guidance, especially those that are in the same line of work as you. These two women provide me with inspiration daily, and make me believe that life can be so beautiful even in the simplest ways.

Happy Labor Day everyone! Enjoy a cold one and some sunshine!
