Velvet Bodysuit // Metallic Pleated Midi Skirt // Etched Dropped Earrings // Alexy Sandal // Crystal Embellished Clutch

Happy November lovelies! Can you believe Thanksgiving is only 15 days away?! I definitely can’t, especially since that means that the holiday season is practically upon us. I’m so excited for all of the holiday festivities to come and just the joyous and nostalgic feelings that come with them! Bring on the Christmas music, tree decorating, cookie baking, candles burning, present buying, good food, and of course dressing up. Also have I mentioned how excited I am that the holiday drinks have already debuted at Starbucks?! I know what you’re thinking, get a life Miranda, and yeah I probably should! But it’s just like getting handed Christmas in a cup, and I love it. My favorites are the Chestnut Praline and Caramel Bruleé. So delicious, especially as a frappuccino (you guys know my obsession), but equally yummy as lattés!

Since I’m starting to get into the holiday spirit, I wanted to throw together a dressy and glam holiday look for you guys. I’ve really been loving the look of metallics around Christmas time because they are just so festive. It’s such an easy way to dress up and look fancy, which is perfect if you have any big holiday parties to attend (or just because – I’m not gonna judge)! I loved the look of the rich red velvet bodysuit with the silver metallic of the skirt. Together they make the perfect combo for a holiday glam look. I usually tend to go for the midi skirts when creating a look with a skirt because not only are they are so classic and feminine, but they dress up an outfit with little effort. Score.

As a side note, I’d really love to get more feedback from my readers. Even though this blog started mainly as a place to share things I was loving and just as a general diary of sorts, I would like to start creating posts aimed more at what you guys are interested in. In other words, what do you guys want to read? Let me know in the comments below! I’d greatly appreciate your input!

Thanks for stopping by & happy Wednesday!!
